Project ENZA in partnership with Durban Tourism will on Friday, September 25, 2020 host the” World Tourism Day Virtual Dialogue.
Presented by Durban Tourism, the event is on the theme: Tourism & Rural Development that seeks to understand the role rural tourism development has in local communities.
The overall aim of the event is to show the tourism’s role in supporting rural tourism business and showcasing them. Most importantly it is to inspire new innovative ways to reignite domestic and international tourism post covid-19 pandemic and border openings.
This experience will be at Mnini Dam which is in the South of Durban and will be coupled with some exciting activities that will offer guests the opportunity to join in the celebration of Tourism Month.
The World Tourism Day Virtual Dialogue will host 50 guests including Tourism Students to watch or view the virtual dialogue from Mnini in strict adherence with COVID safety measures.
Project Enza is a Not-for-profit company whose aim is to preserve excellence in tourism through education and exposure and based in South Africa.
The Africa Tourism Association (ATA) is the event’s Digital Partner. The discussions will last for one and a half hours from 9AM-1030 SAST.
