TAAG and Habana Forwarding Celebrate a Partnership to Foster Cargo Business

Following the company’s commercial strategy to develop the cargo segment, TAAG Angolan Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Habana Forwarding. With this agreement, which is renewable annually, TAAG will become the first choice operator for Habana Forwarding, regarding cargo import & export on the
Luanda-Lisbon and Luanda-Havana routes. The scope and destinations may evolve to other locations operated by TAAG, namely within the Americas, Africa and Europe.

This partnership will empower TAAG’s position as a facilitator of international trade while leveraging the potential of Luanda/Angola as a hub. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Miguel Carneiro, TAAG’s Chief Commercial Officer, and Cenén Portuindo Hernández, Chairman of Habana Forwarding.
Overall, this agreement is aligned with the airline´s strategic vision of progressively increasing the market share concerning the regional and intercontinental air cargo marketplace.
