WATCH: Rebuilding South Africa’s Tourism with Rural Development

South Africa’s Department of Tourism, launched Tourism Month will ongoing activities around the country with the final celebration being hosted at the Cradle of Humankind on the 27th September 2020.

UNWTO’s theme for World Tourism Month this year was “Tourism and Rural Development”.

Tourism helps rural communities hold onto their unique natural and cultural heritage, supporting conservation projects, including those safeguarding endangered species, lost traditions or flavours.
